Every Scout in BSA Troop 511 has the opportunity to earn the rank of Eagle Scout. We have awarded the Eagle Scout rank to 92 Scouts since 1971. During the last 5 years, the coveted Eagle rank has been earned by over 20 Scouts in Troop 511. We expect several more Scouts to earn Eagle this year and again next year, likely cresting 100 Eagles in 2014!
Our experienced adult leadership, many who are Eagle Scouts themselves or have Eagle Scout sons in Troop 511, work with our Eagle candidates to ensure their Eagle projects are challenging, meaningful and durable in their service to the community organization they support. Our Eagle projects provide the resources that build, substantially improve or restore entities that serve the needs of our community partners such as our charter organization, St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, or Forest Hills and West Clermont school systems, Hamilton and Clermont County parks, the Animal Welfare League, Tealtown ballpark, Anderson Township fire department and First Lutheran Church in Over-the-Rhine.
